Terms of Services

Welcome to MeQURE. These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MeQURE website, mobile experience, and related tools that let you search for doctors, specialists, clinics, and urgent care providers, check insurance participation, book appointments, and manage follow-up care (collectively, the “Services”), operated by MeQURE (“MeQURE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. Certain features may come with additional terms, which will be presented to you before you use them and are considered part of this Agreement.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

If you use the Services on behalf of someone else — for example, booking care for a family member — you confirm that you’re authorized to act on their behalf and to accept these Terms for them.

1. About the Services

MeQURE gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Services for your own healthcare search and scheduling needs. You can browse much of the Platform without an account, but booking an appointment and using your dashboard requires creating one.

Through the Services you may see provider profiles, availability, ratings, insurance information, articles, and other materials (collectively, “Content”), including Content that may be generated with the help of AI tools such as search summaries or chat assistance. Content is meant to help you find and choose a provider — it is not medical advice and does not substitute for a conversation with a qualified healthcare professional.

2. We Do Not Provide Medical Advice

MeQURE is not a healthcare provider, insurer, or pharmacy. Nothing on the Platform — including search results, provider profiles, articles, or AI-assisted chat responses — is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, or are having thoughts of harming yourself or others, do not use the Services. Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.

We encourage you to verify any information that matters to your care — such as a provider’s credentials, licensing, or specialty — directly with the provider’s office or the applicable state licensing board.

3. No Doctor-Patient Relationship

Using the Services, including messaging a provider’s office or reviewing provider Content, does not create a doctor-patient or other clinical relationship with MeQURE or with any provider until that relationship is separately established between you and the provider you choose. We do not control provider schedules beyond what’s shown on the Platform, and we are not responsible for cancellations, no-shows, or other issues with an appointment once it’s been booked.

4. How Provider Listings Work

Providers choose whether to list on MeQURE, what availability to publish, and which insurance plans to display as accepted. Some providers pay a fee to be listed, to appear more prominently in search results, or to receive a booking through MeQURE; where a listing is sponsored or promoted, it will be labeled as such. Paid placement does not mean MeQURE endorses or vouches for the quality of a provider’s care.

We take reasonable steps to confirm that listed providers hold an active, relevant license, but we do not independently verify every credential, and provider-supplied details (like languages spoken, specialties, or bios) may change or become outdated. We do not employ providers, and providers are not our agents or staff.

5. Telehealth Appointments

Where telehealth is offered, MeQURE may facilitate the connection between you and a provider, whether through our own video tools or a third-party platform the provider uses. Our role is limited to enabling that connection — we are not responsible for the clinical care provided during a telehealth visit, or for the content of your communications with a provider. If a third-party video or messaging tool is used, that provider’s own terms and privacy practices apply to that portion of the interaction.

6. Insurance and Cost Information

Insurance participation and cost estimates shown on MeQURE are intended as a convenience and general reference, drawn from information you provide (such as your plan and member ID) and information supplied by providers or insurers. Coverage details can change frequently and MeQURE does not guarantee their accuracy. Always confirm your specific coverage, copay, and network status with your insurance carrier and the provider’s office before your visit.

7. Your Account and Responsibilities

  • Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
  • Provide accurate, current information, including your contact and insurance details.
  • Use the Services only for lawful, personal purposes — not to scrape, index, or bulk-extract provider or availability data, and not in a way that interferes with the Platform’s operation or other users’ experience.
  • You are responsible for the cost of any care you receive from a provider; MeQURE does not bill for medical services and is not a party to your financial relationship with your provider.
  • If you’re a healthcare provider or someone in the healthcare industry browsing the Platform, you agree not to use pricing, availability, or other Content to coordinate pricing, restrict output, or otherwise engage in anti-competitive conduct.

Disputes that arise between you and a provider — including about billing, care quality, or a missed appointment — are between you and that provider; MeQURE is not obligated to mediate them, though we’re glad to hear feedback that helps us improve the Platform.

8. Reviews and Content You Submit

You may be able to post reviews, ratings, or other content about your experience with a provider (“Submitted Content”). Submitted Content should reflect your honest, personal experience — not content that is false, defamatory, or posted on someone else’s behalf without authorization.

By submitting content, you grant MeQURE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and adapt that content in connection with operating and promoting the Services, including through summarization or other processing that helps other patients use the Platform. You’re responsible for what you post — MeQURE doesn’t endorse the views expressed in Submitted Content, and we may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable guidelines.

Feedback you send us about the Services (suggestions, bug reports, ideas) may be used by MeQURE without restriction or compensation to you.

9. Payments

If MeQURE ever processes a payment on your behalf — for example, a copay collected at booking — that payment is handled through a third-party payment processor, and you agree to that processor’s applicable terms. You remain responsible for any amount owed to a provider beyond what is collected through the Platform, including deductibles, coinsurance, or services not covered by your plan. MeQURE is not responsible for billing errors made by a provider or your insurer, and disputes over provider charges should be resolved directly with the provider.

10. Intellectual Property

The Services, including their design, text, graphics, and underlying software, are owned by MeQURE or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited right to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, republish, or exploit Platform Content for commercial purposes without our written permission. All rights not expressly granted to you remain with MeQURE.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may link to or integrate with third-party websites, insurance carriers, payment processors, or video tools. We don’t control and aren’t responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third parties. Any transaction or interaction you have with a third party is solely between you and that party, and we encourage you to review their own terms before proceeding.

12. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t guarantee that provider information will always be accurate, current, or complete, that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any particular outcome will result from using MeQURE to find or book care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Nothing in this section limits any warranty or right that applicable law does not allow us to disclaim.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeQURE and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including damages related to a provider’s care, missed or cancelled appointments, or reliance on Platform Content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount, if any, you paid to MeQURE for the Services in the six months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations on liability, so some of the limitations above may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold MeQURE harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Services, or violation of another person’s rights, except to the extent caused by MeQURE’s own gross negligence or willful misconduct.

15. Term and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the Platform, or for other reasonable business reasons, including extended inactivity. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Provisions that by their nature should continue — such as payment obligations, intellectual property terms, disclaimers, and dispute resolution — survive termination of your account or these Terms.

16. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

We hope to resolve any concerns informally — please reach out to us first at the contact details below. If we can’t resolve a dispute informally within 60 days, you and MeQURE agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Services will be resolved through binding, individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court where eligible, and either party may pursue disputes involving intellectual property infringement in court.

Arbitration will be administered by a recognized arbitration organization (such as the American Arbitration Association) under its consumer arbitration rules then in effect, and will take place in a mutually convenient location or be conducted remotely at your election. Each party is responsible for its own attorneys’ fees, except as the arbitrator or applicable law otherwise provides.

Both you and MeQURE agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. If this class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) may proceed in court, while any remaining claims stay in arbitration.

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to the contact address below within 30 days of first agreeing to these Terms, including your name, account email, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration.

17. General Terms

  • Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which MeQURE is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where arbitration is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
  • Severability. If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision isn’t a waiver of our right to do so later.
  • Assignment. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any supplemental terms referenced here, make up the entire agreement between you and MeQURE regarding the Services.
  • Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. We’ll update the Effective Date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice such as an email or in-app banner. Continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or acting as the parent or legal guardian of a minor for whom you’re booking care, to create a MeQURE account. The Services are intended for use within the United States.
