MeQURE (“MeQURE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a healthcare discovery and scheduling platform, including the MeQURE website, mobile experience, and related tools that connect patients with doctors, specialists, clinics, and urgent care providers, and let patients check insurance participation, book appointments, and manage follow-ups (collectively, the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with the Services. For purposes of this Policy:
This Policy is incorporated into, and should be read alongside, our Terms of Use.
MeQURE is primarily a directory and scheduling tool, not a treating provider, insurer, or health plan. In some cases, however, a provider practice that uses MeQURE’s scheduling tools may ask us to handle certain patient information on its behalf as part of running its calendar or confirming visits. When we hold information in that limited, administrative capacity for a practice that is itself a HIPAA “Covered Entity,” that information may qualify as Protected Health Information (“PHI”) and is governed by HIPAA rather than by this Policy. Your provider’s own Notice of Privacy Practices explains how they use and disclose your PHI.
Outside of that narrow administrative role, information you give directly to MeQURE — for example, when you create an account, search for a provider, request an appointment, leave a review, or contact our support team — is Personal Data governed by this Policy, not PHI.
What we collect depends on whether you’re a Visitor browsing the Services or a User with an account, and which features you use.

We treat health-related information, insurance details, and precise appointment data as sensitive and limit their use to operating and improving the Services — we do not use this information to build advertising profiles about you.
We keep Personal Data for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet the purpose it was collected for, or satisfy legal, tax, or recordkeeping obligations. As a general rule:
We may retain de-identified or aggregated data that can no longer be linked back to you, without time limit, to analyze usage trends.
| Recipient | Why We Share |
|---|---|
| The provider or practice you book with | Your contact details, insurance selection, appointment details, and any intake notes, so they can prepare for your visit and manage their schedule. |
| Payment processors | To process payment for any paid features. We do not store full card numbers. |
| Hosting, IT, and analytics vendors | To operate, host, secure, and analyze use of the Services. These vendors may only use data to provide services to MeQURE. |
| Insurance verification services | To help confirm plan participation shown in search results. |
| Customer support and communications tools | To deliver appointment reminders, confirmations, and respond to inquiries. |
| Advertising and analytics partners | Limited technical and usage data (such as device identifiers and browsing behavior) may be shared to measure and, where you have not opted out, personalize advertising for MeQURE. We do not share health conditions, insurance details, or appointment content with ad partners. |
| Legal and regulatory authorities | Where required to comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect the rights, property, or safety of MeQURE, our users, or the public. |
| A successor business | If MeQURE is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, Personal Data may transfer as part of that transaction, with notice to affected users where required by law. |
| Anyone you direct us to share with | For example, if you make a review public or connect a third-party account. |
We do not sell health conditions, insurance member IDs, or appointment reasons to third parties for their own marketing use. Some sharing of device and browsing data with advertising partners described above may meet the technical definition of a “sale” or “share” under certain state privacy laws — see Section 11 for your opt-out rights.
We and our vendors use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the Services and understand how they’re used:
Your choices: You can manage cookies through your browser settings, and where available, through an in-app privacy preference center. Blocking essential cookies may prevent core features like staying logged in or completing a booking from working properly. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC).
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Data, including encryption in transit, access controls that limit who can view account and booking data, and routine security monitoring. No system can guarantee complete security, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
The Services are intended for individuals 18 and older, or for use by a parent or legal guardian booking care on behalf of a minor dependent. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data directly from children under 13 through self-service account creation. If we learn a child has provided us information without appropriate parental involvement, we will take steps to delete it. If you believe this has occurred, contact us using the details in Section 14.
If you live in a state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law (such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or others), you may have some or all of the following rights, subject to legal exceptions:
Washington and certain other states provide additional protections for “consumer health data.” Where those laws apply, we limit use of health-related information you provide to operating the Services you’ve requested and do not use it for advertising.
To submit an access, deletion, or correction request, or to opt out of data sharing for advertising, contact us using the details in Section 14 or through your account’s privacy settings, where available. To protect your data, we will need to verify your identity before completing most requests (verification is not required for opt-out requests). You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to proof of authorization. We will respond within the time frame required by applicable law and will not charge a fee for a valid request.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. We will update the Effective Date above, and where a change is material, we will provide additional notice — for example, an email or an in-app banner — before the change takes effect.
